I am selling a used Tobin 16mm Telecine Transfer System. This machine was manufactured in the USA and outputs in PAL format, via an S-Video link. It also transfers optical sound. These units are currently for sale by Tobin USA for $4725 (£2,850) + International P&P and also UK/European Tax and Duty charges.

Since buying this machine two years ago from VideoPro - a Danish cine film transfer company, I have since had the machine fully serviced and worn parts replaced by Tobin's UK service arm - Olympic Audio Video Services based in Hampshire.

The machine has two speeds - 16FPS for the majority of silent footage and also 25FPS for optical sound footage.

I am selling this machine as I have recently invested in an MWA 16mm Flashscan unit.

Have a look at this 16mm sample link to give you an idea of how the machine transfers. Please bear in mind this is a YouTube clip and so low resolution, but it will give you an idea on just how good this machine is at transferring 16mm cine film stock.

If you need to see an actual sample, drop me a line with your full name and address and I will post you out a DVD sample.

I am open to offers. I am happy to ship Worldwide.

Drop me an e-mail if you are interested on - brucerutland@hotmail.com

Best regards,

Bruce Rutland
