Frank, how about this: Richard has a Paypal account. You can make a one time payment to his Paypal eliminating bank fees n' stuff, then he could could ship it to you via First Class International for $16.25 with a value of $35.00 US. I guess since you have repaired the projector this is a moot point. [set5_b/set5_b/gnorsi.gif]

Hi Dan, Thanks for the suggestion. It would be cheaper that way ...but... after being ripped off by a paypal using buyer a year or two ago I no longer use paypal.

Yeah in this case I sorted the problem without needing the manual, but in the future I will probably want to buy things from USA and the UK so will have to organise some method of payment that costs less. I think my NZ bank can set me up with an international online cash transfer account. Otherwise I have got a multi currency prepaid mastercard that I used on a recent trip to Australia but even that was very costly. For Aud $15000 it cost me over NZ$17000 and the usage charges were nearly NZ$1000. We had a great holiday though. [set5_b/set5_b/biggrinjester.gif]

Cheers,
Frank.

Richard, I see what you mean. Priority Flat Rate is definitely the way to go.

I have to thank Richard for this post because I also got ripped off by Paypal which is why I no longer use the service. Privatly I got cursed out for not using paypal because the seller couldn't get ahold of my account. I've posted time and time again that both Paypal and Ebay are just ways to steal from people. No one listens until they have an empty account.

Hello again RC,

I'm sure you are totally genuine, and a very reliable seller of Eiki parts.
My mention of the paypal issue was not meant to reflect on your good self in any way whatsoever.

If I need Eiki parts or indeed a manual in the future I will now be able to use the new international online cash transfer system my bank has given me, which reduces the charges and makes very prompt transactions, and I will gladly buy items from you.
If my comments offended you in any way I apologise.

I've used the new cash transfer system for recent international purchases and it works well.

Regards,
Frank.
