I ran a reel of Scopitones before the previews and cartoon at last nights film show. The I.B. Tech color really knocked them out. My audience had no idea what a Scopitone was. They were impressed. You know, these Scopitones are really loaded with T&A. One was a folk group from around 1964. They came out high stepping around bails of hay and a steamboat holding their banjo, guitars, and acoustic bass singing "do wacka do wacka do". Then, a line of southern belles strolled out and proceeded to bend over showing their do wacka doos.
. Towards the end of the song the belles were clad in bikinis following a fellow in a top hat into the steamboat. When the girls emerged from the steamboat, the fellow in the top hat was wearing nothing but a pair of frilly pantaloons.
