I used to collect odd reels hoping to find the missing reel. Over the past 11 years I have found....none. [set5_b/set5_b/toetap05.gif]

You would think with all the odd reels out there something would surface. Where do they go?

I had a nice dupe print of Bride of The Monster that I got from Pat Reese. He got the first reel one year, then the second reel a year later, both EBAY hunting. He also told me where the reels changed on the dupe didn't match where the reels changed on his original. (different scenes)

Evidently not many! I kept The train Robbers fro 5 years, but never found the odd matches. I did find the whole feature. I have a few reels on super 8 of Swiss Miss and A Chump At Oxford. Hey! I have an idea! [set5_b/set5_b/bigear.gif] I'll post a sticky thread a the top 8mm, 16mm, 9.5mm, and 35mm for members to post odd reels they have.

Go for it, Dan. I have several odd reels of Super 8...a few from AFRICAN QUEEN, certainly some 16mm stuff. I know there was talk of doing this on other forums at one time, but nothing ever came of it.

Yep, good idea. I think I have some odd reels lying around too. Also on the lookout for some odd reels to complete prints or to replace bad ones.

I have reel 1 to Danny Boy [set5_b/set5_b/banghead.gif] that you can put on your list.

Chuck Webb sent me that instead of the episode of Death Valley Days that I purchased. He kept promising to send the rest of the feature AND the Death Valley Days I bought...but the flake never got around to it as usual. [set5_b/set5_b/beatdeadhorse5.gif]

Chris and I are working on adding the Odd Reel sticky post. [set5_b/set5_b/conehead.gif]

From me you can throw in Night of the Living Dead R1 super 8. Have had it for years. Given away. This reel is no longer available.

I've put together mix 'n' match prints of THE TALL BLOND MAN WITH ONE BLACK SHOE and THE WOMAN IN GREEN; and have several times made one print out of two on cartoons and shorts. (Please check my posting on the 16mm sales/wanted page under "Half a Short Is Better Than None" for an odd clip I'm currently looking for.
