Recently I was able to reunite a company with the footage (digital) of a commercial they used to run about 30 years ago. Out of the many snipes I have listed on my site, one in particular always seemed a bit different to me...and it is one I have watched more than most others. It is a Massey's Pizza ad that ran in the 80's...
It seems that the corporation did not keep copies of the commercials they had made so they assumed it was gone and lost forever. Then a few weeks ago, the franchise operating manager did a search and ended up at my site...he asked if I had the footage available...I replied not at this time...do you need 16mm film or video? He wanted video...hmmm...I contacted the person who just purchased the clip and he agreed to loan me the film to transfer to video for the company.
If anyone has any other old Massey's commercials they would really appreciate video copies.
