I can't say enough good about the film cleaner Film-O-Clean sold through Film-Supply.com / Neil Research Laboratories. There was a lot of trial and error in designing this machine, and I can say first hand it works well. It can use ANY film cleaner, it can be mounted either on your bench between rewinds or directly onto your projector. The media is soft enough to use dry and won't scratch your film if wanted to do so. It can be had in S8mm or 16mm since the rollers and drive wheel are easily changed. The best part is the media moves by itself via gears so there is no worry about dirt deposit build-up to scratch your film.

Dino, go to the Film/Equipment Seller's Websites category. You will find Roy Neil's website there along with others. If anyone wants their logo, name and link entered there, please let me know. It's all free! :D

Couple pictures of my portable cleaning board with the Film-O-Clean, and first pass of a film.
Hey LOOK, it isn't mounted on a projector! And for what it is worth, the cleaning fluid was filmrenew. I soaked the media rolls before I started, and after the first pass, I went to put a squirt of filmrenew on the rolls to get ready for the second pass, and they were still so saturated that the fluid leaked out the bottom of the rolls. NO WORRIES about the media drying out during a pass even on a 2000' reel.
