Hello,

This is my first post. I'm fairly new to the world of 16mm film projection - since the movie theatres have almost all switched to digital, I've realized that this is the only way that I'll be able to watch a real film again. I've enjoyed reading the older posts in this forum as I try to figure out what I'm doing. I only have a couple of feature films so far but the thrill of watching actual film is really exciting!

I have a question about scope lenses. I have the standard 2" inch prime lense on my projector. My "Filmorama" scope lens also says 2" on it. Does this mean that I can't attach it to a 1.5" prime lense? I'd like to get a bigger picture and switch to a 1.5" prime lens but I'm hoping not to have to find another scope lens.

Thanks for your help.

Hi, Kilian. Great first post. Could you post a couple of photos of the lens showing the specs?

Thanks, I guess pictures would help. I'll see if I can post some tonight.

It turns out this lens can be attached to a 1.5" f1.6, a 2" f1.4/f1.6, or a 3" f1.6. I'm embarrassed to say I was just misreading the manual. Thanks anyways.
