Hello, first post here.
I'm trying to figure out what size the female speaker output jack is on my Kodak 8k5.
It looks just like the standard 1/4" microphone plugs but no, it's slightly smaller, and nothing fits it besides the speaker cable that comes with the projector.
What I'm trying to do is use the speaker output, as an input to my home theater amplifier.

And that worked as I cut off the wire to the speaker and spliced that onto a cable that goes into a "4 channel microphone mixer" I got from RadioShack and then from there, into my AUX input on my amp. That works just fine having the Kodak's amp a little turned half past middle. But, I accidentally pulled the cable out and yanked the wire right off the the plug.

So, I'd like to find out if anyone knows what type/size plugs these are. And do you see any problem doing this? I don't really mind if there's some risk of hurting the amp since I got the amp from a thrift store for something like $10 (a nice Pioneer brand), but if there's a better way of doing this, I would like to hear it.

File comment: Kodak's plug on the left, and a standard 1/4" plug on the right. (You can see I tried to repair the plug, but it's still very fragile)

I've heard the type of plug you need described as a "junior" phone plug; it's only slightly smaller than the standard 1/4" phone plug, though obviously much larger than the "mini" phone plug much used for earbuds, etc. Older Bell & Howell machines from the 60's and 70's use it too.
