Went to watch a DVD the other day, and 20 minutes in, the player froze...not to worry I say to myself, I'll just use the bluray/dvd theater thingy with the digital projector...WRONG! It is broken too...and it is less than a year old (still under warranty) so I turn to one of my young trusty 25+ year old projectors and put on a print of Hollywood Knights...and what do you think happened? It worked just fine. [set5_b/set5_b/lurk5.gif]

Hi Wayne,
Yes I think you are right, the old ones are still alive and kicking !! despite the age ! I love my 16mm Eiki EX4000p projector, it sure serves me well.
This is sure a great hobby.
Have a nice day

Manuel, I saw your home cinema in the latest issue of Film Collector. Very nice! The ten foot ceiling is a real plus. My home cinema is 14'x24' also, but the ceiling is only seven and one half feet high. You article has inspired me to get back on track and try to finish it.

Wayne, what is this thing you call "digital projection"? [set5_b/set5_b/conehead.gif]

Hey Dan, agreed about Manuel's screening theater.

Not sure what the Digital Projector is anymore. From the original posting, I still have not went out and bout a new DVD-Bluray system to use it. [set5_b/set5_b/cheers2.gif]
