Didn't think about the small image size of the 16mm when I bought. My Eumig S912 Super 8 throws twice the size at same distance. Wish I had caught that ahead of time I probably wouldn't have bought it. My viewing area is quite small and at that distance there's just not much there.

Roger, not to worry. Look for 25mm(1" lens). That will give you a big picture.

What is you throw distance from the lens to the screen?

A one inch lens is what you need.

One inch lens at 13" will make an image 59" wide x 44" high
3/4" lens at 13' will make an image 95" wide x 71" high.

Here is a throw char thanks to Paul Ivester:

Hey Roger.
When you posted about buying a 16mm I thought I posted back that most stock projectors come with a 50mm long throw lens. Not a good image size at short projection distances. I replaced the stock lens in my Eiki with a 1 inch B&H lens adapted with a collar from a different projector. I get twice the image size that I did with the stock lens. Granted I have about 25' throwing distance but with a fixed lens honestly the smaller the lens and longer the barrel of it the better off you are as for getting a good size image. There is an alternative. It is expensive but if you can find an adjustable B&H Filmovara lens it should fit your projector and give you the option of projecting an image from about a foot wide to around 9 foot wide at 13 feet. Those lenses were stock on B&H projectors in the 60's but were discontinued because they weren't needed for educational purposes. School projectors typically had 50mm long throw lenses and that was what B&H mainly sold until the early 80's when they quit the 16mm market.
Most super 8 projectors have zoom lenses installed when you get them. It was a home targeted market and they had to be adaptive to every home. My Elmo when completely zoomed has about a 10' screen. 16mm was more industrial mainly intened for schools and libraries and multilexes in it's later years. Wasn't much intended for home use.
I'd search for a Filmovara or compatable lens and replace the one in your projector. There are several people who provide optics on the web here and you can also find scope lenses adapted for 16mm which adds a whole new dimension.

Thanks friends for the info. The one inch would be perfect for my situation.
