I know single is sound but will double work also? |

Double perf works the same way as single perforated film so you can use it, just keep in mind to lower the volume of your sound while the double perf is running through or you will get a horrible knocking sound since the other perferation is going through your sound head. Otherwise you shouldn't have a problem. |

Thanks, 16mm is new to me and I picked up a partial roll which had about 25ft on it. After buying it I realized that it was the double and wanted to make sure it would be alright to use. |

Hey, I've even spliced in dual-standard 8 unprocessed Kodachrome as opaque slug, and like Erik said, turn down the volume! Of course the trick on that is making sure there's an even number of holes if splicing in and out of that stock, and it can't be the initial head leader either. |
