Johnny Mack Brown in 'Desperate Trails' 1939.

Johnny Mack Brown goes undercover to find out who is behind a series of stagecoach hold ups and horse rustling; the culprit is a crooked sheriff, played by veteran actor Russell Simpson.

Thanks for posting the screen snaps, Robert. I'm a sucker for the "B" westerns and could watch them 24/7. Only this afternoon I was watching SHORT GRASS, an obscure Rod Cameron 1950 western, and Johnny Mack Brown stars as the sheriff.

Thanks Chris; I have difficulty getting good screenshots, I try all different ways. Rod Cameron was a good actor. It was amazing what they could cram into those films, some only lasting 60 mins. Sometimes they were better than the A films.

Yes, I love the B westerns Hoppy,Durango kid series especially when they are on 2300 ft reel

lots of dupes out there but if they have reasonable picture quality and sound I dont mind

I often trade for others with my fellow collectors
